Cigarette Butts thrown by the litter BUGS

Hey bloggers,
Lately..well since our previous neighbours moved around 3 months ago we(my family and I) have been getting lots of cigarette butts in between the fence on our new neighbours side and our clothes line. No one that I live with smokes. My Mum and Aunty that I live with both thought it was the wind pushing our neighbours cigarette butts under the fence until now.

The cigarette buts are not the usual orange/brown..they are white.They have rubber like stoppers at the bottom and tobacco inside...they obviously by the tobacco and paper and wrap it themselves.

There are about 3 or 4 cigarette butts per day.I myself have taken on the responsibility to sweep it back under the fence.As I have previously said my Aunty and Mum both thought it was the wind until now. The reason being, the cigarette butts stopped coming for about a week. they were just not there. But our neighbours were. Forgive me if I am mistaken but I do not believe a smoker can just stop smoking for a week and start again. Ive been told it is extremely hard to uit smoking becuase smoking is addictive. I believe that they just stopped throwing it over the fence. The wind cannot be the reason becuase the wind is usually swaying our neighbours way.

I thought we could collect the cigarette butts in a plastic bag over a week then throw the bag back over with a note attatched saying "I believe these are yours". But I soon realised that would backfire and make the situation somewhat worse.

I am continuicing to sweep the cigarette butts under the fence back to their side...you would think that would be enough and they would get thge fact that we do not appreciate them throwing their dirty cigarette butts under our fence and have the decency to put it in an ash tray.I guess I could give them an ashtray...but Im not giving in.They need to grow up and stop litering.
